Help Wanted in the Kingdom of Jesus Christ
Jesus gave us a clear road map as to how to get the job of cleaning toilets in his Kingdom, and even the danger of him flushing us down it, and turning us away at the gates of Heaven. Do the things outlined below, and you will be assured of the job. His words in Matthew 5, verses 16 -19. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. 17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
The message here is simple. If you knowingly break any of the laws God gave us in the Old Testament as his perfect will for man to live by, you are a great candidate for the toilet cleaning job. His laws identified what is sin, and what is not, and sin does not change before God, regardless of what you or I may think. If you turn your head and tell others that sin is not sin, or teach others and say the sin they are living in is fine with God, Jesus may have already put your name down on a toilet and reserved your job, or rejected you completely. We are not required by God to keep all the customs God gave Moses for the Jewish people; but we are required by Jesus to live by the laws and statutes that Moses gave his people, that identified sin. Jesus took the penalty phase of the laws and nailed it to the cross with him, giving us the power through faith in him to overcome our sinful nature. People need to hear another stern warning by Jesus in Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. ( His father's will is for us not to sin ) 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
And in Luke 13:27
24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. 28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
The words of Jesus to the Jewish people at the time and certainly applicable to us as Christians today. His message was that if you violate the laws of God, you will be cleaning toilets, mowing yards, or other basic positions in Heaven, while others who have kept his laws and defended his ways will have the more important positions. No offense intended to our earthly janitorial and yard care people, as I have cleaned toilets and mowed yards. His message is clear that those who live in and promote sin to other people may be in danger of not getting into Heaven at all. People call them mind saved; not heart saved. We as Christians, need to examine our lives and make sure we are not endorsing, promoting, or embracing any form of sin, as defined by the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob in the laws he gave Moses for us to live by. Jesus is not your free pass to Heaven while living in and embracing sin. There is no person alive that cannot walk out of what God has identified as sin, with help from the power of Jesus Christ. Please remember that God would not let Moses enter the promised land because Moses would not defend him at the waters of Meribah when the people had risen up in rebellion. Are we better than Moses? Some of God's list that Jesus said you had better be beware of, are these:
1. Breaking:
The 10 Commandments - Exodus Chapter 20
1 And God spake all these words, saying,
2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
13 Thou shalt not kill.
14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
15 Thou shalt not steal.
16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
2. Embracing, promoting, or engaging in same sex marriage or relationships.
The definition of abomination is - a thing that causes disgust or hatred
Leviticus 18:22 ( God covered the gay lifestyle specifically, and said it defiles the land )
Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.
24 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
25 And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
26 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
27 (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
28 That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.
And
Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Look at what is happening in California, the most liberal place in America. Crippling drought, then more water and flooding than they could ever dream of. The gay lifestyle was present during the days of Noah, Lot, and certainly when Moses came down off the mountain with the 10 commandments. God gave the people over to unnatural affection because of their rebellion against him. In all 3 cases, God destroyed them all. California's problems are not by accident, and I firmly believe God will protect and harbor the States in our country that keep his ways.
And
Revelation 21:24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
3. Attending any Church of Jesus Christ that embraces or promotes the gay lifestyle and marriage, as acceptable. Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
We are to love the gay community and pray for them, but not embrace what God has called an abominable sin. And no, Jesus does not care if it is your only son or daughter, or what we think.
4. Attending any Church that ordains gay Pastors and other gay leaders in their Church
Deuteronomy 12:31 Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods. Jeremiah 44:4 Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate. It is
inconceivable to me; and I am quite sure Jesus; that any person that calls them self a Christian could attend any Church that ordains gay Pastors and other leaders. Jesus would want you to find a new Church, and take all of your friends and relatives with you.
5. Being a Congressman, Senator, or other leader who votes to redefine marriage, and defile God's ways. Our leaders that call themselves Christians will not escape the judgment of God for defiling God's definition of marriage and his ways. The gay community could have called it a civil union or whatever else they wanted to call it, and had their rights; and respected God's ways. As Christians, we should never acknowledge any gay marriage, or God will hold us accountable. Have our leaders no shame.
6. Embracing people engaging in sex with someone they are not married to ( Fornication ), and saying it is O.K., because they are your son, daughter, relative or friend.
7. Embracing someone living in fornication with someone they are not married to. ( The 2nd degree of disgracing Jesus ), and telling them it is O.K..
I ask the question ?? If you call yourself a Christian, what are you going to tell Jesus when he confronts you with the fact that your embracing of their sin helped send many people to hell; rather than standing up for his ways and telling them that they need to repent of the sin they are living in; and leading them to his saving grace. Mothers and fathers need to start standing up to their children as Christians did in the days of old, and start defending God's ways again. Yes, you will love them regardless, but sometimes children need to hear tough love.
You may be offended by me pointing out that Jesus does not care what you or I think. I am only the messenger, and he and his Father's ways are carved in stone, forever.
How is your audition for Heaven going ????
